The 3-day class in May
竹内硝子製作所にてワークショップを開催いたします
テーマはモザイク制作２です
主な内容はモザイク制作とモザイクを使ったトンボ玉制作となります
今回は通常のモザイク制作に加え、
ファイバーボードなどを使った方法もご紹介いたします
また応用として佐竹ガラスを使ったフュージングもレクチャー予定です
※佐竹ガラスときなりがらすが使用可能です
（当工房では佐竹ガラスのみ販売しております）

日程
2026年5月15日(金)～17日(日) 全日9:30~18:00
費用
・参加費33,000円 （懇親会費込 / ガラス棒・お弁当は別途)
・ファイバーボード代1,000円程度（使用する方のみ）
最終日に工房にて、現金での清算をお願いいたします。
対象
・アマチュアの方を対象に、バーナーワーク初心者の方から安心してご参加いただけます。
※バーナーワークや吹きガラスなど、ガラスを溶かす技法が全く未経験の方には少し難しい内容となりますので、ご参加はお薦めしておりません。
・トンボ玉やコアガラスに限らず幅広く活用できる技法ですので、エアーバーナー以外のガラス工芸をされている方にもご参加いただけます。
定員
最大９名様（４名様以上で開催）
持ち物
・道具類 普段お使いの道具をご持参ください。（工房の道具もお使い頂けます。）
・筆記用具、バーナーワーク用サングラス、必要な方はエプロン等
・ご自身の作品（写真でもOKです） 参加者様同士の交流が目的ですので、どんな作品でも構いません。
ガラス棒
・普段お使いの佐竹ガラス/きなりがらすをお持ち込みいただけます。 （佐竹ガラス棒は当工房にてご購入も可能です。）
※バーナー
BWAN-1とTB-03(どちらも集中炎)を使用しています。
プロパンガス用のバーナーであればご持参も可能ですので、事前にご相談ください。
ご宿泊
ご希望の方には、ホテルの手配代行を承っております。
ホテルは「あづみ野パークホテル」または「穂高タウンホテル」となります。
※手配代行は通常価格での手配となりますので、自身でご予約頂いても大丈夫です。
（手配代行はマージン等いただいておりません。）
お部屋を確保しているわけではございませんので、ご希望の方はお早めにお知らせください。
（繁忙期のため予約が取れなくなってしまう場合がございますので、ご注意ください。）
送迎
ワークショップ期間中、穂高駅周辺にご宿泊の方のみ送迎可能です。
（上記以外のホテルの場合、距離などにより送迎できないこともございます。）
工房に駐車スペースがございますので、お車でもお越しいただけます。
昼食
1,2日目は、ご希望の方にお弁当を注文いたします。（各日、朝にご希望をお伺いします。）
参加費には含まれませんので、最終日に精算させていただきます。
※ご自身でお持ち頂いても大丈夫です。
懇親会
・2日目のワークショップ後、工房にてささやかですが懇親会を行います。
・3日目の昼食にはお蕎麦屋さんへ行きます。
※アレルギーなどの方は事前にお知らせください。
※どちらもワークショップ参加費に含まれます。

We are accepting applications for our 3-day class in May at our studio in Japan!
This 3-day class features the “mosaic technique”, Daisuke is going to demonstrate how to create mosaics and make beads with them. He will show you how to create a mosaic using "fiberboard", and will lecture on the fusing technique using SATAKE glass.
We have practice time for the participants during the 3-day class, and you’ll use SATAKE glass and the Japanese torch. It may not be familiar to you, but we believe that you can enjoy and get some tips for your work, so this class is for not only bead makers but also glass artists who use other techniques.

Schedule
Date: May 15th–17th, 2026, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
The ending time might change depending on the situation.
Fee
・Participation fee ¥33,000
・Material for core fee ¥1,000 (If you use the fiberboard)
・Glass rods and lunch box fees depend on your purchase.
Please pay in cash at the end of the 3-day class at our studio. (We do not accept credit cards.)
The fee includes a petit party on the evening of the 2nd day and lunch on the 3rd day.
Location
Our studio is located near Hotaka Station in Azumino City, Nagano.
We recommend staying near Hotaka Station so we can pick you up in the morning and drop you off after class each day.
Accommodation
If you would like assistance booking a hotel near Hotaka Station, we are happy to help!
The cost is approximately ¥8,000 per night.
What to Bring

Glass tools that you usually use (if you don’t have any, you’re welcome to use ours).

Writing utensils.

A pair of safety glasses for lampworking.

An apron (optional).

Your glass art:
To share and interact with other participants, you can bring a piece of your work or a picture of it. -
Glass rods:
If you have SATAKE or KINARI glass rods, feel free to bring and use them.
If not, don’t worry—you can purchase them at our studio. Note: You must not use SATAKE glass rods with oxygen torches! SATAKE glass contains lead, and melting it with an oxygen torch can release lead into the air, which is hazardous.
Torches
We use Japanese torches that use air, not oxygen.
Photos and Videos
You are welcome to take photos and videos during the class. However, please avoid uploading full demonstrations to social media. Short clips or a few photos are fine.
Please do not use the videos and photos you take for the purpose of teaching others how to create them.
If you don’t want us to post photos or videos featuring your face on social media, please let us know.
Lunch
For the 1st and 2nd days, we can order lunch boxes for you if you’d like. We will ask you each morning.
You can bring your own as well.
Petit Party & Lunch on the 3rd Day

On the 2nd day, we’ll have a petit party at our studio after class.

On the 3rd day, we’ll visit a soba (buckwheat noodle) restaurant near the studio for lunch. Soba is a local specialty!
If you have any food allergies (especially to buckwheat), please let us know in advance.
Language
We primarily speak Japanese.
Daisuke’s wife, Sakiyo, will try her best to interpret using a translation app. While it may not be perfect, we hope you understand and enjoy not only the glasswork but also interacting with other participants.
Cancellation Policy: We will charge you ¥16,500 if you cancel after April 15th.
